This is a wizarding roleplay based off of the books written by J.K. Rowling. This roleplay takes place in the United Kingdom, ten years after Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter. The year is 2007, and something is brewing in the minds of those Death Eaters who escaped the Ministry's arrests.

entrance hall Completely redisigned after the destruction of the Last War, the rebuilt Entrance Hall is decorated in the house colors, forming an odd sort of Welcome Rainbow. Decorating the walls are portraits and plaques, honoring both the dead and living for their achievements and services to the school. sub-boards ::the ballroom
the great hall Magnificent as ever, the Great Hall remains one of the most remarkable areas of the school. A ceiling that depicts the sky's current mood; and walls made of glass and stone give this particular place a feeling of being outside. The old 'rows' layout has been abandoned. The long tables now form a sort of diamond around a cleared area in the center, where a small altar-like plaque sits, bearing the name 'Harry Potter'. sub-boards ::the kitchens

the corridors OMG HALLS! -- All through the castle wind numerous corridors and hallways. In fact, many first years are known to get lost from time to time; the maze-like layout can take some getting used to. sub-boards ::room of requirement , the headmaster's office , the staff room
the towers Jutting out of Hogwarts' mighty exterior are many towers, reaching high up into the sky. These are great for star-gazing and committing suicide, and all your other tall tower needs. sub-boards ::the owlery
the library This is where you should come to read books or study. NOT light fires or drink. I repeat, NOT light fires or drink. An entire new branch of the library was created after the war in honor of Hermione Granger, friend of Harry Potter and major contributor to the school. sub-boards ::the granger wing , the restricted section
the hospital wing After the heroic and helpful acts of the nurse, Madam Pomfrey, in the War, the Hospital Wing was made extremely 'modern', outfitted with all sorts of new equipment and assigned three house elves specifically for the room. Even after Madam Pomfrey's retirement, these updates remain.

classrooms I LOEV LEARNDING ... Students at Hogwarts are required to sign up for at least five classes. Come here to pick and choose, take part in lessons, turn in that dreadful homework, and prepare for your OWLS or NEWTS.
the four houses The four houses of Hogwarts are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own history of accomplishments. the courtyard A great place for picnics or conversations or even for selling your latest illegal invention, the courtyard remains a favorite student hangout.
the great lake The lake, huge and magnificent as ever, has had very few changed made. The merpeople remain at the bottom, probably plotting everyone's death. The giant squid now has a lover [a giant pink octopus], so beware. Who knows, maybe we'll have baby squid running around? Dumbledore's tomb lays nearby, magical and magnificent as the man within.
the forbidden forest The forest remains one of the most recognizable areas of the Hogwarts grounds. Centaurs roam, a giant lurks, unicorns neigh and stuff. Stay out if you wish to live; the spiders have been particularly violent lately.

the quidditch pitch IT IS A PITCH OF QUIDDITCH! Basically a mini-stadium, the Quidditch Pitch, complete with enough stands to house all of the students [and then some], are not only a popular place for Quidditch games and practices, but a nice place to do homework or socialize as well. the greenhouses Humid and warm year-round, the greenhouses keep within them a wide variety of plants, both magical and mundane. Everything from the boring, muggle Rose to the magical Tentacled Orchid can be found here. the wizarding world
hogsmeade From butterbeer to the Shrieking Shack, epic amounts of candy to novelty prank items, Hogsmeade is a student's heaven. Trips to Hogsmeade are scheduled, but upper years are allowed to travel here on their own during weekends.
diagon alley Diagon Alley is hidden from muggle view, the entrance in the back of an old, run-down pub. The cobblestone streets hold numberous shops and stores, and is where most students go back-to-school shopping. sub-boards ::knockturn alley
wizard london Though Wizard London is much smaller than the muggle part of the city, there are still many things to see and do. Many wizards live in the magical part of London, but just as many--if not more--live amongst the muggles.

st. mungo's St. Mungo's is the primary wizarding hospital in Britain. Healers and Mediwitches treat any sort of magical illness or injury, on both magical folk and muggles.

the beach Though most of the European coastline can be rather chilly in autumn and winter months, there's no stopping the rush of beach-goers any other time. You can even find surfers geared up in wetsuits during the colder seasons.
